 studied Translation studies (English, French and Spanish) at the University of Antioquia in Colombia. He participated in research projects relating to lexicography and terminology management in Austria and Germany. He wrote his PhD thesis in specialized translation and terminology and standardization at the University of Vienna. Since 2005, he has participated in the annual meetings of ISO/TC 37. Professor Díaz has taught terminology and other related subjects in Bachelor and the Master Programs in several Colombian Universities. Currently, he works at EAFIT University Intercultural Management area in the International Business Department, a part of the School of Management of the EAFIT.
